Background
Detective Daniel Scrocher was a well respected police officer.
Top of his class at the academy and had just made detective when he had his world turned upside down.
Dan was a detective in the Grand Theft division of the city police.
While investigating a series of robberies, he was tipped off to the location of the culprit.
Instead of going through normal protocols, Dan pulled a bunch of strings to try and "collar" the crook himself.
Unfortunately for the detective, his suspect was no simple criminal. Through the most unlucky of circumstances,
Detective Scrocher ended up within the Twilight facing many angry ghosts.
While some of his colleges where with him and went down in a blaze of glory, Dan Scrocher ran. Running saved his life.
Stumbling through the Twilight for over a week, he saw things that would crack the sanity of almost anyone.
Finally, the poor soul found his way back out of the Twilight. Once he made it back to his precinct,
the questions of where he had been were replaced with concern and laughter at the stories that he told.
After a couple of psych evaluations, Detective Dan Scrocher was deemed unfit and relieved of duty.
His wife has left him due to him refusing to "get help" from a psychologist.
Now he can be found drinking in just about any bar that won't kick him out, talking about the strange world of
ghosts that lies behind every corner in every room.
