Caroline "Lifts-The-Veil" Russel
Werewolf - Forsaken Tribe
Background
Caroline Russel was a normal 18 year old girl from UK, on her last year of school before the university. Maybe a bit angsty and too deep into the wiccan witchcraft thing, maybe a bit too temperamental than her friends at school, but otherwise perfectly normal.
Then one september night the crescent moon called her. After a month of weird visions and hearing voices she found herself wandering the edges of her hometown, around the old burrows where she felt safe. That's where her first change happened and that's where the forsaken pack of Bone Shadows and Blood Talons found her. After a short explanation of what she is now and what does it mean, she was sent back to the city with a phone number to one of the alphas and a warning that nothing will ever be the same now.
Her initiation to the Bone Shadows tribe was a long series of quests given to her by a old raven spirit, Corvus Invictus, born many years ago on the Roman banners carried by armies rolling over the land, and now imprisoned by powerful rituals on top of a belltower in an old church.
The spirit, pleased with the way she solved his quests, gave her one last question: 'what can change the nature of a man'. The answer to this question turned out to be the key word nessesairy to free the spirit from it's prison. For that he agreed to help her in her duties as her totem but only if she agrees never to bow before someone else's leadership - if she wants to be a part of a pack, the pack must come to her and follow her orders. Caroline agreed on such harsh conditions nonetheless.
Lifts-The-Veil now maintains a small patch of land around her house in her home city, just enough for one werewolf to patrol in one day. The sign of a black raven with spread wings, clutching a crescent moon in his talons is ever present on her territory, and a similar tatoo is visible on her left arm. She is very suspicious of anyone who comes to her but is happy to share her knowledge of the spirit world with any Forsaken willing to pay her in kind.
