The Blue Moon and silver broom is an occult store. The owners are Janette and Charlie Renolds, though it's really Janette's store as Charlie works as a PI for a living. (Yes, these are the grown up charecters of
Janette Goodling and
Charlie Renolds) They have few employes and the store is the place of Janette's strange after hours activities. They have a few employes: Marcus "Mark" Kalihan (An 18 year-old superstitious surfer dude recently moved to the city) and Reene Parker (A 17-year-old ghoth kid who doesn't believe in all this nonsence, she just needs the paycheck).
Layout: (There should be at least one door outside in the back of the place here... I was just too lazy to draw it...)

(Brown blocks are bookshelves. The random thin colored squares are rugs. The purple block is a curtan seperating the main storefront from the back.)
In the back of the store is a small kitchen complete with a round table will Janette will occasionaly do palm readings and tarot cards for some customers. Staff can also help themselves to anything in the fridge and (though she hasn't explicetly said it) they can treat friends to free food as well.
Next to the kitchen is a back storage room always filled with boxes of things for the shop. In the center of the room is a metal silver circle set into the floor clear of boxes. Janette will allow séances to go on there, but will not preform them herself claiming, "I don't have the power to do that." Reene says she thinks it's because Janette knows this stuff isn't real, Mark says it's because she knows this stuff
is real.
Sometimes, things fall over ranomly off the shelves or seem to float for just a second. Janette tells everyone it's just their tilted foundation sending things off the shelves and Reene is glad that for once Janette agrees there's a sensable explination. Mark thinks it's a ghost.
Stock:They stock just about anything "occulty" (Is that a word?) you could ever need. And if they don't stock it they can order it. You need candles? They have candles? Robes? They've got those too, along with some pretty ornate dresses for special occasions. Books, necklaces, cards, daggers? Yes, yes, yes, and yes! You need a circle put into your floor? They have a company they can call. You need to order handmade silver bullets? Do you want them blessed in holy water or not, because they can get them for you either way.
Secrets:What Reene and Mark don't know is that this occult shop has customers of a supernatural variety frequent often, and Janette doesn't descriminate. Vampire, Mage, Werewolf, Changeling, or Hunter, she will allow them to shop. It is declared neutral terratory and the only way you loose the privlage to shop there is if you do something to piss off Janette, who will then severly beat your ass into the ground. Her PI husband investigates supernatural as well as mundane matters but will never spy for you. He is a detective, not an agent. His business cards are avalible at the checkout counter.
The back lot behind the store also belongs to Janette and Charlie, that is no secret as other companies have come by to attemt to purchase it from them. They will not sell for reasons they explain to no one, not even Mark or Reene. In fact, under that lot is Charlie's garage, where he keeps his version of a batmobile he had a friend build.
At night, Janette practices gaining control of her pyrokenetic and telekenitic powers as she cleans up shop and re-stocks for the next day. She also allows use of the back lot for negotiations of a supernatural variety absolutly free. She'll even bring out drinks and snacks sometimes to calm the tension. If anything gets out of hand, she is quick to tell them to take it somewhere else, because if someone hurts her shop there
will be hell to pay. There was only one time a group didn't listen to her (a negotiation for terratory between two werewolf packs) and managed to break the back wall of her storage room. Every member who hadn't run in time had been thrown out and pelted with the rubble by a pissed off Janette.
There is one other rule to these supernatural discussions,
do not touch Charlie. Don't even breathe on him wrong, because, since Charlie is a completly normal human, Janette is a little protective of him. Also, don't be fooled, because, although he's no hunter, Charlie can damn well take care of himself.
